Happy Decorating – Wilton’s Way

Happy Decorating – Part 1 Basic

Since I am a self-taught baker and cake decorator and most of my cakes are sculpted and covered with fondant, I decided to take a Wilton’s Cake Decorating class.

I really enjoyed the class, but why is it that something that seems so simple is the most difficult and those things that should be difficult isn’t? Picked up some techniques that I hadn’t done before.
I will definitely take another class later on. This cake is vanilla flavored with buttercream. I think my ribbon roses could have been much better, but considering this is my first time making roses from buttercream, I won’t beat myself up.
